Leeds Party Fire Engines work throughout the year attending everything from community events to children's parties, from proms to 21st birthdays and naturally hen and stag parties.Currently we are on 24 hour standby for Leeds Emergency Pumping Service providing pumping and pump breakdown cover to all of the West Yorkshire area. During the floods of July 2007 and more recently January 2008 our appliances were busy pumping out premises around Leeds and even managed to prevent a High School in Leeds from being flooded again saving them in excess of £50,000 in repair costs.
The Dennis fire engine from our fleet came across a serious road traffic accident in Leeds as it returned from a party and provided assistance fire cover and made one of the vehicles safe before the fire brigade arrived. Once the brigade from stanningly station arrived we stood down and they took over. Our Dennis also rescued a young couple broken down in the middle lane of the M62 in heavy traffic they were safely towed to a safe area to await recovery.
He have even attended our very own emergencies including the floods of 2007, where our engines assisted in emergency pumping.
